"Autumn Bloom" Watercolor Print — Textured Matte Botanical Wall Art

This textured watercolor matte print was a piece inspired by a few days of isolation while doing an artist residency in an isolated fire tower on a mountaintop. During my time alone I was faced with a lot of anxieties and fears that I didn’t even realize I was harboring. I turned to nature, taking long walks among the vast scenery to ease my internal world. I collected this plant while out walking, and loved the way the flower, which had bloomed a bright yellow a few months before, had become a delicate and intricate skeleton of itself. It was just the reminder I needed that our beauty is still present, even when we're not in a season of blooming.

Hung in a reading nook, studio, or bedroom, I hope that the muted color palette and delicate line work of this flower invite gentle introspection into your everyday spaces.
